Colijnsplaat is situated at the north side of North-Beveland near the Zeeland Bridge and National Park De Oosterschelde. You can make wonderful walking- and cycling tours through the wonderful landscape or a nature boat trip on the water. You can enjoy water sports activities such as surfing, sailing, diving and kite surfing. Besides you can sunbathe, ride or flying a kite on the beach.
The cosy, historical cities Zierikzee, Veere, Goes and Middelburg are easily accessible. The capital city of the island, Zierikzee, has a rich history (trade, industry and fishery). The many monuments remind of those days. You will definitely admire the Gate Complex, The Big Church, The Thick Tower and the port. Above all, Zierikzee is a cosy city with many terraces and shops.

Colijnsplaat is the home port of the fishing fleet. Each week a fish auction is organized, which is definitely worth a visit just like the modern marina. The centre offers many cosy shops and beautiful houses. If you rent this holiday house in Colijnsplaat, you will enjoy a lovely holiday!

This detached, luxurious, unique villa for 8 persons in typical Zeeland architectural style has a spacious, cosy, comfortably furnished living room with gas heater, underfloor heating, HD flatscreen and Blu-Ray DVD-player.

The spacious, open kitchen is complete with amongst others microwave, coffee-maker, Senseo coffee-maker, oven and dishwasher. Scullery with toilet and washing machine/drier.
On the ground floor you will find a master bedroom with boxspring mattresses, a bathroom with walk-in shower, luxurious composite washbasin, Finnish sauna, sunshower and toilet.
On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, with two single boxspring beds (90 x 210 cm) each. All beds have duvets and at arrival they have been made for you. The upper floor has underfloor heating as well. In all bedrooms you will find a HD-TV.
On the first floor you will find the second large bathroom, with spacious walk-in shower, bath/whirlpool, luxurious composite washbasin and toilet.
Outside you will find a deep (25 meter) garden with terrace inclusive of bluestone garden table and eight comfortable garden chairs. Besides, you will have a spacious, lockable storeroom.

. The villa has child-friendly sockets and stairgates.


Flood museum Ouwerkerk
You should definitely visit the Flood Museum in Ouwerkerk. It gives you an impression of the flood disaster of 1953, which marked the history of Zeeland and the Netherlands. As a result of this disaster, the Deltaplan was developed. The southern part of the island Tholen suffered the most during the disaster, most people died in Stavenisse.

Deltapark Neeltje Jans
To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.

Schouwen-Duiveland offers many cosy, characteristic villages and cities. Most of them have preserved their authentic characteristics. Zierikzee, capital city of the island, has definitely benefitted from trade, industry and fishing and is characterized by a rich history, expressed in the many historic buildings. You will definitely appreciate the Poortencomplex, the Big Church, the thick tower and the marina. Above all, Zierikzee is a cosy city with many terraces and shops.

In her heydays Veere used to be a powerful commercial town which traded with Scotland. Nowadays, this city at the Veerse Lake is still characterized by its beautiful marina. Many buildings still remind you of her heydays. Veere doesn’t only offer old streets with warehouses, but many authentic shops, boutiques and souvenir shops as well. Highlights: the Campveerse tower, Scottish houses and the impressive church!
