This detached villa with Sauna is luxuriously furnished and has a surface area of 120 m². The villa is suitable for six persons and offers free internet. The kitchen is equipped with amongst other things a gas hob, fridge freezer, combi microwave, coffeemachine and dishwasher. On the ground floor there is a bedroom, a bathroom and a traditional sauna. The bedroom has two single beds (boxspring) and the bathroom has a shower and a sink. There are also a washing machine and a dryer which you can use and there is a seperate toilet.

Giethoorn is located in the National Park Weerribben-Wieden, and therefore very popular with many tourists. Nature, culture and water sports enthousiasts, both young and old can enjoy themselves in Giethoorn. Whatever season you choose, Giethoorn is the ideal holiday destination.
Everything that can float is here on a nice day. Giethoorn is well-known from the village canals and walkways alongside. It is an experience to sail through the canals with a punter or whisper boat. Besides the many opportunities for water sports Giethoorn also has a range of different museums, shops and restaurants. There is also a shell gallery, a museum farm and some punter yards.
The National Park Weerribben-Wieden is located in Overijssel. It is a landscape where water and reeds predominate. This national park is the most important wetland in Northwest Europe. The current landscape of Weerribben-Wieden is caused by the digging of peat for the peat extraction. Traces of these are to be found both in the landscape and in the name of the area. Ribs are narrow strips of land on which the extended peat was placed to dry. After the peat period the cane cultivation was decisive for the landscape.
Although the opportunities for walking and cycling in wetlands as Weerribben-Wieden are more limited than for boating, they are very attractive.
