Our house is located in the small village Ouddorp. We rent half of it with private access to holiday guests. We offer a wonderful surrounding area; beach and a wonderful scenic area are situated within walking distance. Ouddorp is a cosy village by the sea, with many restaurants and nice gift shops. In Summer there are three tourist markets and plenty of events. The beach is situated within walking distance (10-15 minutes). You can go shopping in Rotterdam (circa 50km), Renesse (circa 20km) and Hellevoetsluis (circa 20km). Zierikzee is a historic city, with nice shops and restaurants.
The semi-detached holiday house with underfloor heating has the following lay-out: On the ground floor you have a wonderful kitchen-diner fitted with all modern conveniences, with dining table.
Living room with couches and TV. The first bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
On the first floor you will find two spacious bedrooms. The first bedroom is for three persons with a double bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has three single beds and void for a possible seventh person/child. Both bedrooms have a ventilator. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.
Outside you have a lovely, private, paved, fenced-off garden in front of the house with BBQ and a collective (with owners) south-facing garden. You can park two cars on the drive at the most.
Deltapark Neeltje Jans
To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.
Kinderdijk in the Alblasserwaard is worldwide known for its authentic windmills from the 18th century. The 19 mills were originally built to allow occupation. Nowadays these mills are unique icons representing an unique piece of Dutch history. The extensive peatland offers a perfect background.
De Hollandse Biesbosch
A wonderful scenic area. The visible tidal differences have created an unique landscape. You will enjoy wonderful basins, willows and water birds. The best way to discover this area is by boat. It is possible to rent a rowing boat, whisper boat or canoe.
Paths are unpaved and require solid shoes and clothes. A walk through this area will definitely be a great experience. Although it is difficult to cycle through the National Park, the surrounding area offers wonderful cycle tracks along meadows, polders, village and rivers.
