Throughout the years, the harbour of Ouddorp has been extended by an unloading/loading quay. It used to be a fishing port, nowadays it is used as marina. You can make a nice walk through this marina and enjoy many nice restaurants and terraces.
The old town- and polder house is a museum which leads you through the history of Ouddorp. Its landscape, nature, fishery, dialect and traditional costumes will be explained.
In Goedereede you will find tidal area 'De Kwade Hoek'; its name refers to the treacherous current. In this area you will find many types of plants such as sea lavender rand scurvy grass. Besides, it’s a nesting place for various birds. You can make a nice walk or cycle tour through this wonderful piece of nature.
This atmospheric holiday house is completely situated on the ground floor. Living room with TV with satellite-TV with Dutch and German channels and DVD-player, radio and CD-player, games, atmospheric fireplace, underfloor heating, free internet and free highchair. Kitchen complete with amongst others: Oven, Senseo coffee-maker, cooker, stove (4 rings), grikll, toaster, refrigerator, electric kettle, juicer, mixer.
The house has 2 bedrooms. First bedroom with large double bed and second bedroom with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
Outside you will find a garden (not fenced-off), a furnished terrace, a private parking place, a picnic table, a BBQ, a sunshade and playground. Attention: The garden is fitted with fenced-off pond!

To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.
De Hollandse Biesbosch
A wonderful scenic area. The visible tidal differences have created an unique landscape. You will enjoy wonderful basins, willows and water birds. The best way to discover this area is by boat. It is possible to rent a rowing boat, whisper boat or canoe. Paths are unpaved and require solid shoes and clothes. A walk through this area will definitely be a great experience. Although it is difficult to cycle through the National Park, the surrounding area offers wonderful cycle tracks along meadows, polders, village and rivers.
Kinderdijk in the Alblasserwaard is worldwide known for its authentic windmills from the 18th century. The 19 mills were originally built to allow occupation. Nowadays these mills are unique icons representing an unique piece of Dutch history. The extensive peatland offers a perfect background.
