This cosy holiday home for 6 persons is situated in Cadzand, Zeeland Flanders in the Zomerdorp, next to scenic area ’t Zwin, within walking distance of dunes, beach and sea.

Cadzand is the southernmost seaside resort of the Netherlands, near the Belgian border. The historical cities Bruges, Ghent or Knokke are definitely worth a visit. Cadzand, however, offers lots of cosy restaurants and terraces both in the village and at the beach. The beaches of Cadzand belong to the most beautiful beaches of the Netherlands. You can parade, sunbathe, make long beach walks or enjoy water sports activities.
There are various marked cycle routes along the coast, through dune areas, on country roads to various, characteristic villages.
Scenic area Het Zwin is definitely worth a visit. It has a rich flora and fauna and is a paradise for all kinds of birds. You can visit Het Zwin yourself or join guided walks.

The holiday home has a cosy living room, amongst others with TV, fireplace, sitting area, dinette and open kitchen. Kitchen complete with stove (four rings), microwave, refrigerator, grill and coffee-maker.
There are three bedrooms, one on the ground floor with bunk beds, two on the first floor, with two single beds each.
Bathroom on the ground floor with shower, bath, washbasin and toilet. Second toilet on the first floor. A washing machine is at your disposal.

Sliding French door with access to enclosed garden with terrace, with garden furniture, cushions and sunshade.
Private parking place.


Zeeland Flanders guarantees wonderful walks and long cycle tours. Dikes and polder roads lead you along polders, creeks, high trees and old pollard willows to age-old cities with a rich history. The cycle node network allows you to compose wonderful cycle tours through an attractive landscape

Submerged land of Saeftinghe
This wonderful scenic area is situated on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium and is the largest brackish water of Europe. Many breeding- and migratory birds live here. All year long you can observe many birds, varying from geese, sedge warblers in spring, to sea-eagles in winter. Seals are regularly spotted as well.

The historic town centre of Bruges has been included on the World Heritage List of Unesco. This city offers many monumental buildings such as the Provincial Court, the Fish Market, beguinage Ten Wijngaerde, the Houses of God and the Belfort. Besides, you can visit various museums, varying from modern visual arts to the new Lace Centre.
Besides culture, you will definitely enjoy the cosy streets and shops, sit down on a terrace and enjoy a wonderful dinner in one of the many restaurants.

The old fortified city is one of the most beautiful cities of Zeeland Flanders. It has a Burgundian character and breathes a pleasant atmosphere. This city is definitely worth a visit.
Hulst is surrounded by moats. You can make a nice walk over the old town ramparts. The Saint-Willibrordus basilica is definitely worth. The old city centre doesn’t only offer monuments, but many shops, restaurants and ice-cream parlours as well, which are open 7 days a week! On Mondays a large market is organized.

Douche is spekglad en met een beetjes schimmel. Huisje is gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima terrasuitrusting.

Der Gesamteindruck war durchweg positiv. Die Lage ist toll, am ersten Abend sahen wir die Kühe direkt an der Grundstücksgrenze zum Naturschutzgebiet grasen. Zu bemängeln fanden wir die Endreinung bevor wir das Ferienhaus bezogen haben. Wir wissen, dass Hunde erlaubt sind und man nicht jedes Haar in den Ecken bei der Reinigung entfernt bekommt. Aber selbst auf der
ebenen Fläche waren Haare, wir empfanden die Bodenreinigung mangelhaft und haben selbst gesaugt und geputzt, bevor wir unsere Tochter krabbeln lassen konnten. Die Küche und das Badezimmer waren sauber. Das Badezimmer ist für unseren Geschmack annehmbar, die Küche ist modern (Backofen mit integrierter Mikrowelle / Gasherd), sehr gepflegt und es hat Spaß gemacht zu kochen. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Behindertengerecht empfanden wir das Ferienhaus nicht, man gelangt zwar barrierefrei hinein, kann sich aber nicht wirklich barrierefrei bewegen. Am Badezimmereingang befindet sich eine Sproße von wenigen cm an der ich öfters gestolpert bin. Das Kinderzimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoß. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind nur über eine Steile Wendetreppe zu erreichen. Das WC bei den Schlafzimmern hat wiederum einen erhöhten
Toilettensitz, das im EG nicht. Fließt aber nicht in unsere Bewertung ein, da wir nicht betroffen sind. Trotzdem können wir dieses Ferienhaus ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
