Together with four other farms and two active mills this accommodation is situated in the watery landscape of South Holland and offers an unobstructed view of meadows with cows and waders. Although traditional, everyday activities like milking the cows are still carried, you won’t be hindered. You will enjoy peace, space and cosiness.
This accommodation is situated in the famous Green Heart, allowing you to make long walking- and cycling tours along nostalgic villages. You can fish, sail or milk cows as well. The local miller is definitely worth a visit. Big and small animal lovers will love the sheep, goats, rabbit(s) and chickens. In this luxurious, comfortably furnished farm you will enjoy a well-deserved holiday.
On the ground floor you will find a cosy living room, amongst others with comfortable sitting area, dinette, satellite-TV, DVD, free internet and central heating. Fully equipped kitchen amongst others with stove, dishwasher, coffee-maker, Senseo coffee-maker, refrigerator and freezer. A washing machine and drier will be at your disposal.
The first, spacious bedroom with two extra-long boxspring-beds (210cm) is situated on the ground floor, just like a bathroom with shower, washbasin and separate toilet. The second bedroom is a cosy double box bed. Through fixed stairs you will reach the first floor with void and three single boxspring-beds (210cm).
Through folding doors you will reach a spacious terrace with garden furniture. Next to the house you will find two parking places.
Deltapark Neeltje Jans
To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.
Kinderdijk in the Alblasserwaard is worldwide known for its authentic windmills from the 18th century. The 19 mills were originally built to allow occupation. Nowadays these mills are unique icons representing an unique piece of Dutch history. The extensive peatland offers a perfect background.
De Hollandse Biesbosch
A wonderful scenic area. The visible tidal differences have created an unique landscape. You will enjoy wonderful basins, willows and water birds. The best way to discover this area is by boat. It is possible to rent a rowing boat, whisper boat or canoe.
Paths are unpaved and require solid shoes and clothes. A walk through this area will definitely be a great experience. Although it is difficult to cycle through the National Park, the surrounding area offers wonderful cycle tracks along meadows, polders, village and rivers.
