This holiday accommodation is situated on the outskirts of Nieuwland (South-Holland), in the river area nearby De Linge. From the holiday house you can enjoy a wonderful view of the meadows. The wonderful, central locations enables you to make wonderful trips. In the surrounding area you can make wonderful cycle- and walking tours. You can visit various glass museums in Leerdam (6km0, the glass city of the Netherlands. You could also visit fortified city Gorinchem (9km), shopping city Utrecht (30km) and National Park de Biesbosch (35km). Cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Breda and Arnhem can easily be reached (30 minutes). The nearest supermarket is located at 4 km. On the terrain you will also find a small camping with nice playground, laundrette, central parking places. You can buy fresh bread here.
Description: Our largest holiday house for max. 5 persons has 2 separate bedrooms with toilet, a spacious living room with open kitchen and a terrace with garden. The house is completely situated on the ground floor and has amongst others: CH, TV, microwave, dishwasher etc. Bedroom I has 2 single beds, bedroom II has bunk beds and a single bed, both bedrooms with wardrobe.
Terrace & garden:Garden table with 5 garden chairs, sunshade. Southwest-facing garden. Holiday accommodation 1 and 2 (ZH016) are situated next to each other and have a common large garden with wonderful view: you can also rent both houses together (9 persons). The holiday house can be rent throughout the whole year. Prices inclusive of: energy. Internet available at an additional charge. Max. 2 pets allowed. Smoking only allowed outside.
The bungalow is entirely situated on the ground floor. Living room with amongst others TV (Dutch and German channels), radio, CD-player and internet at payment. Open kitchen complete with coffee-maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. Hall with separate toilet. The bungalow has two bedrooms. One with two single beds and one with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower and washbasin. Outside you will find a garden (not fenced-off) with furnished terrace and private parking place.
There are various possibilities to discover the city, you can go for a walk, join a guided city tour and become acquainted with the historic town centre or make a round tour through the canals. Delft stands for Delftware. Not only lampposts or nameplates remind of it; various locations allow you to admire it like the Royal earthenware factory De Porceleyne Fles, Delft Pottery De Delftse Pauw or De Candelaer. There are numerous possibilities!
Local nickname for Leiden is Key City. Leiden has the oldest university of the Netherlands. The city is known for its rich history and the old town centre with canals, historic buildings and almshouses. Leiden has more than 2800 historic buildings and places of interest which can be reached either on foot, by bike or by boat, like: the Castle, the town hall, the St. Peters Church, the theatre and the Gravensteen.
The ‘Keukenhof’ is a large park (32 ha) with a lot of footpaths (15km). The park is filled with blooming tulips, hyacinths, narcissus and other bulbous plants. A perfect place to relax and get inspired.
In Archeon in Alphen a/d Rijn you will experience three periods from the Dutch history: Prehistory, Roman empire and Middle Ages. All buildings (43, amongst others gates, bridges, huts, temples, monasteries, farmhouses etc.) in Archeon are reconstructions of buildings which have truly existed in the Netherlands. It concerns full-sized buildings.
The famous Madurodam is a Dutch miniature city in The Hague, scale: 1:25. In this miniature city you can form a picture of Dutch society by means of replicas of Dutch buildings.
