Set off on an exciting adventure in this hilly, wooded and lakeside setting and try out the monkey, rope and vine bridges high up in the trees. (Adventure course takes 2.5 hours to complete.) Children’s trail with 30 workshops and youth trail with 80 workshops&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;<b>FURTHER AFIELD: </b>&lt;br/&gt;<b>Isle of Groix. 40 km. </b>Beautiful 8 km-long steep-sided island with gorgeous beaches. Ideal for a day trip and best visited by bike. Boat crossings from Lorient.&lt;br/&gt;<b>Pont Aven. 40 km. </b>Artists’ haunt situated inland from the tip of the Aven estuary. It is a small port popular with tourists and boasting many art galleries. Made famous by Gauguin when he came to paint in the 1880’s before leaving for Tahiti and inspired the Pont Aven school.&lt;br/&gt;<b>Carnac. 60 km. </b>Sought-after and lively seaside resort with excellent sandy beaches. Also renowned for its impressive prehistoric standing stones. A wide range of watersport activities are available as well as a good selection of restaurants and bars.&lt;br/&gt;<b>Concarneau. 55 km. </b>Fishing port with delightful fortified old city. Enjoy a stroll through the small town and don’t miss the famous Kouign Amann, a Breton cake full of butter and sugar. Very naughty but so delicious!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;<b>HOW TO GET THERE: </b>&lt;br/&gt;Low cost flights from UK to Brest (1 hr 45mn) and Rennes (2 hrs).&lt;br/&gt;Ferries to Roscoff (2 hrs) and St Malo (2 hrs 30mn).
